Advantages and disadvantages of
Online classes
ADVANTAGES
1. Online classes can be taken from any location (where
internet is available)
2. We don’t need to travel anywhere. We get education
sitting at home.
3. The topics are completed quickly with help of PowerPoint/Open
board etc.
4. Sessions can be recorded
5.
We
can review the lectures if required..
6. Online exams mostly have MCQ's type questions which are of short duration.
DISADVANTAGES:
1. There is no face to
face interaction with the fellow students and the teacher.
2. No facilities such as
library or laboratories.
3. Sitting in front of
mobile, computers and laptops causes eye strain and headache.
4.Online classes are often distracting as student’s loose concentration of topic but divert their attention to what are their friends doing, chats etc.
5. It can be monotonous
as there is no interaction with school friends.
6. Mass Drills and
Sports are missed.
7. We can't celebrate national days with the same spirit as in school.

ReplyDeleteHi Leisha...yes most of your points are right and that really a neat job :) Would like to add few more. Disadvantages basically :( . classroom sessions trigger multiple sensory mediums for better grasping of subject, online classes are often distracting as students loose concentration of topic but divert their attention to what are their friends doing, chsts etc.
